Contract Details

The work involved the construction of a new traditional construction extension to the existing technology block of the school. This work included all new services into the rooms including connection of all workshop machinery into the main school supply, and refurbishment of existing technology classrooms once new building was complete.

Site Difficulties

The site formed part of Penglais Comprehensive School and adjacent to the pupil drop off point, deliveries had to be timed not to coincide with the pupils arriving and leaving the school, the site was situated on the existing school site which meant that the whole site compound had to be securely fenced off so that the pupils could not enter the site.
